About the writer

As a child, Rebecca Hayes began her love of writing by creating mock advertisements and commercials for imaginary businesses.  She continued her creative journey in college by participating as a writer and editor of the Cultural Journalism publication, "SlackWater," at St. Mary's College of Maryland.  Through careers in real estate and financial planning over 15 years, she gained a professional voice and writing style.  She prides herself in the versatility of her work and her ability to provide creative solutions to match the communication needs of her clients.

A:  I offer flexible pricing via:

• Hourly fees
• Flat fees per single project
• Monthly engagements by retainer (for broad scope, long-term writing projects)

 *After an initial consultation, you'll be presented with a proposal which includes recommendations & fees.

Q:  How long will it take to write new content?

A:  Time to completion varies by project.  For shorter assignments such as promotional scripts, writing may take as little as 15 hours.  Other projects may take several weeks through collaboration, creative development, and editing.

Q:  Can you provide examples of your work?

A:  References & writing samples are always furnished upon request.
